Story: Jasmine was rescued from a shelter in Alabama. We are so happy to have her safe and sound in a foster home in the DC area now. Jasmine is a happy sweetie who loves people and gets along great with other dogs and puppies. She knows just how to get comfortable up on the couch with her humans, and will love to join you on walks and trots around the neighborhood. Jasmine is just looking for someone to be her new best furend and we know that she will repay them with endless amounts of love and tail wags. Like all dogs, Jasmine will need an adopter who is committed to setting her up for success by enrolling in obedience training and exercising her both mentally and physically. She will also need love, patience, and socialization in order to thrive!
What my foster says: Jasmine is a little bundle of joy and is the perfect size at about 20lbs. She is the cutest little girl and is already the star of the dog park! Jasmine is a very playful girl who loves any dog friend and is fine with cat friends as well. She’s very active in the mornings but once walks or playtime is done she’s happy to chill next to you or in your lap (her favorite place). She is very much a cuddler! Jasmine loves to play fetch and will happily bring the ball back to you for more. She is learning how to walk on a leash and will need some practice until the excitement of it all wears off. Jasmine is fine to be in a crate to rest, or at night. She is a bit of a chewer but prefers her stuffy toys or a dog bone so if these are around you won’t have any problem with her. We have been able to leave her loose in the house for a few hours with her dog friends and she has done just fine - no separation anxiety, inappropriate chewing, or accidents. She is doing very well with her house training - she seems to already know this business is supposed to be done outside! So are you ready for Jasmine to be your new best friend?
The fee to adopt Jasmine is $475. That covers the cost of all her vaccines, her spay, the collar she’s wearing, her transport to DC and her care in her foster home. She’s up to date on all age appropriate vaccines.
