Story: Milo is a shy brindle boy who loves his salmon jerky treats and scritches behind the ears. When you hold out the leash, he'll sit and wait for you to clip it on to head out for adventures! Speaking of, he's wonderful on walks, doesn't pull, and meets other dogs politely. We've met several dogs in the apartment building, even the yappy ones, and he's neutral when it comes to them. Dogs barking at him? He's unbothered, sniffing away. He's met kids and is gentle with them. Milo has done well with all the noises, but he can get a little nervous if there's too much going on all at once. If he's uncertain, he'll look to you for comfort. He's taken to my office as his 'safe space,' but he does go into the crate occasionally on his own. He's done great left alone when I need to leave the house. When I come back, 100% of the time, he's asleep in the dog bed in my office. He'll greet you with happy wags and sit nicely for pets. Milo has been great in the car, too! He'll settle down and watch as the world goes by without a peep. He isn't cuddly yet, but he will absolutely nudge your hand with his big noggin as his way of asking for more scritches and pets. He takes treats gently and is overall an incredible good boy, a real package deal. If you're lucky, sometimes you'll catch him being goofy, rolling around on his back on his doggy bed while trying to clean his face. When this puppy snores, he sounds like a garbage disposal, but it's the most endearing thing in the world.
The fee to adopt Milo is $475. That covers the cost of all his vaccines, his neuter, the collar he’s wearing, his transport to DC and his care in his foster home. He’s up to date on all age appropriate vaccines.
