Story: Carrot is an adorable domestic short hair kitty, who was rescued from a shelter in North Carolina with his brother Cheeto. Carrot is a happy, sweet kitty. He spends his days playing with his foster family and chasing all the fun toys he has. When he’s done it’s nap time or cuddling with his humans!
What my foster says: Polite and a bit goofy, Carrot is a sweet young boy who likes to spend most of his day wherever you are. He enjoys playing with springs and things on strings. He also enjoys playing with his other cat friends, and enjoys chasing and being chased. He doesn't often climb in your lap, but if you're sitting quietly early in the morning or late at night, he just might decide it's time to cuddle! Carrot likes to be up high wherever he can reach, so cat towers are great for him. He minds his manners around tabletop objects. He doesn't mind being picked up and carried around, and he is gentle about letting you know when he wants to get down. He's a bit wary of new people but can easily be swayed with treats. Carrot hasn’t been around children much but when he was he did fine with children that respect his boundaries. For a cat, Carrot does well with grooming and will tolerate baths if necessary since he likes water and has been known to get in a tub of water to chase electronic fish! He will also tolerate nail clipping as long as you go slow and offer ample treats. Carrot is not picky about his litter, but he likes a larger litter box so he has enough space to move around.
The fee to adopt Carrot is $200 ($325 for two kittens). This covers his neuter, the cost of vaccines appropriate for his age, the collar he’s wearing, and his care in foster. Carrot has been seen by a vet and we are not aware of any health issues.
