Story: Sweetpea was rescued from a kill shelter in Alabama. We are so happy to have her with us in a foster home. Sweetpea is a happy and sweet young cat. She spends her days cuddling and playing with her foster family and chasing all the fun toys they have.
What my foster says: Sweet Pea is a sweet, adorable, cuddly, teeny-tiny chaos instigator (as my [very understanding, cat-loving] downstairs neighbor, who hears the galloping and clattering of things falling on the floor, can testify). A bit shy when meeting new people--especially when there are a lot of people at once--she quickly warms up and will crawl up on your lap (or knee, or back, or shoulder). She loves strings and things that move--shoelaces, ball, mouse, spring toy). She loves interactive play--especially with the wand toy--but is also good at entertaining herself when I'm busy. She also excels at long naps, and can often be found napping on top of a box near my desk or in a laundry basket near my reading chair.
The fee to adopt Sweetpea is $200 ($325 for two kittens). This covers the cost of her spay, vaccines appropriate for her age, the collar she’s wearing, and her care in foster. Sweetpea has been seen by a shelter vet (or other vet) and we are not aware of any health issues.
